• Gallbladder disease
• History of depression or mental health disease
• History of pancreatitis

• Stomach or intestine problems
• Suicidal thoughts, plans, or attempt; a previous suicide attempt by you or a family member
• Thyroid cancer or if someone in your family had thyroid cancer.
• An unusual or allergic reaction to semaglutide, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
• Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• Breast-feeding

Medical Weight loss injections are administered once a week via a subcutaneous injection. There are currently 2 options available to patients. In office injections done by our medical staff weekly or at home injections performed by the patient after an education session on how to treat yourself at home.

We start our medical weight loss medication at a low dose to minimize any side effects.

Dose adjustments are considered as needed and progression with your weight loss journey.  

Medical grade medication should be used under the guidance of a licensed healthcare professional, and the benefits and risks should be carefully evaluated on an individual basis. When combined with lifestyle modifications, significant weight loss can be achieved during treatment and after.

**Important to note that this is just another tool in your tool box, diet and activity have been proven to be much more important in the long run for sustainable weight loss.

We will work with you to achieve long term lifestyle changes that include proper nutrition, exercise, and a positive mindset.

The most commonly reported side effects for weight loss are constipation, diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, and vomiting. Our medical weight loss medication is formulated with Methylcobalamin to help minimize side effects

Side effects reduce over time as you learn new lifestyle changes of reduced caloric content and fat intake.Your care team is well equipped to manage any side effects you experience and most don't require medical attention.

Medical Weight Loss medications should not be taken in combination with any other medical weight loss medications. Any medications you are taking with Medical Weight Loss medications should be disclosed with our office and also discussed with your Primary Health Care provider.
